Thirsty Dog Brewing Co. (est. 1997) is located in the former Burkhardt Brewing complex, and features a tap room that showcases all of the great beer that's made on premise. Their signature dog bone tap handles are prominent across a twelve tap system and they offer samples, along with pints and sniffers. It's cash only - so make sure you have some actual cash on hand.
The tap room provides an opportunity to purchase Thirsty Dog beer to go, tin tackers, and t-shirts - and often have old barrels that have been used for aging their beer that are for also for sale. I took the brewery tour and really enjoyed learning about their bottling process - and would encourage anyone interested to give a better appreciation for their craft.
On October 26, 2017 - Thirsty Dog Brewing opened up a new bar and restaurant in Cleveland's Flats East Bank.
