Temperance Row Brewing (est. 2014) is located inside Uptown Deli and Brew in the heart of Westerville, Ohio. Westerville has been referred to as “The Dry Capitol of the World” due to the Anti-Saloon League setting up headquarters and passing laws banning alcohol in the town. Due to the town's designation - the thoughtfully crafted brewery was placed in the back of the deli, as a nod to the prohibition era. The brewing tanks are housed in glass behind the bar, so you can check out the equipment while enjoying a flight!
Temperance Row provides an outdoor patio for those comfortable fall nights, beers on nitro for a nice change of pace, and they've even featured an old Columbus favorite, Hoster Gold Top, during Columbus Beer Week. Hoster was a Columbus brewery dating back to 1836, and was one of the breweries that were driven out of business during prohibition. We were lucky enough to snag a pint of the Hoster while it was on tap!
