Millersburg Brewing Co. is a go-to for locals and visitors alike, with a casual atmosphere that lends itself well to those needing a break from a busy shopping day along state route 39, or area residents looking for a fun place to spend time, particularly with several dry towns nearby. Although the town is located in "Amish Country" - the Millersburg Brewing Company is churning out great beer - and the most popular of which is available in cans! They most recently won the Bronze Medal at the World Beer Cup in May 2018 for their Pope's Imperial Pumpkin Ale, but in 2016 they also took home the Gold Medal in the Aged Beer category at the Great America Beer Festival with their Doc's Scotch Ale.

The taproom building itself has an old-time feel that fits the charm of the downtown Millersburg area, but also has some modern touches, like their electronic menu that features an Untappd ticker along the bottom. Board games and entertainment are available near the main entrance, and there is also an outdoor patio available with additional seating and games. The bartending staff was very knowledgeable about the finer points of their beer selection and able to recommend a beer to fit the palate of every person in the group. The Major Holmes DIPA is a house favorite. Overall, a very pleasant environment to enjoy a Saturday afternoon!
