Granite City Food & Brewery (est. 1999) is a chain of 34 restaurants in 14 states - but what makes them unique is their Fermentus Interruptus™ patented brewing process. They start the brewing process at their central brewing facility and then ship the wort to individual stores. When the wort reaches the stores, the fermentation process begins and the brewing is completed.
