Gordon Biersch (est. 1988) is a national chain restaurant and brewery that currently has 35 locations across the United States. Gordon Biersch landed in the Arena District of Columbus in 2001, which was the same winter that the Columbus Blue Jackets dropped the puck for their inaugural season. Although we've both been to the restaurant before - we wanted to experience the bar again and try all the beers they offered. Their flight board displays five beers, but they had seven on tap - bonus! The bar was very crowded and only one bartender was working, so it took some time to get the flight filled. This definitely had more of a corporate feel and the feeling of craft beer love was just not the same as the other breweries around Columbus.
