Aqueduct Brewing (est. 2014) is nestled in the back corner of the former Burkhardt Brewing complex, which houses Thirsty Dog's brewing operations. Their nano-brew operation allows for the creation of very unique brews, like the Shiva Spicy Pilsner and the Belasama Fire Stout, which true to their name are warm going down! Their brewing equipment is located to the left of the concrete poured bar, so you can really feel and appreciate the small batch approach. The brewpub offers both growler fills and flights of their beer and cider offerings. The taproom provides plenty of room for seating and even an outdoor patio to soak up some sun. Their tap handle was made of metal, reminiscent of their sign hanging above the bar and outside, which looks like an ancient aqueduct with the channels cut out and their name laser etched. Interestingly enough, ancient aqueducts were built to bring water from natural sources to a specific destination and the engineers had to be precise in their assessment of the land to build such an elaborate delivery system. One might say that brewing requires a similar level of precision and that Aqueduct Brewing delivers, especially in their location. We are definitely excited to visit Aqueduct Brewing again - and try a few more of their unique brews!
